MediaCore: a video platform for ECLearn

MediaCore is an exciting new app for students and faculty to add videos to libraries in ECLearn. Much like YouTube and other familiar platforms, users can upload, tag, and comment on videos. Users have the ability to access and interact with only videos for courses in which they are enrolled, protecting the privacy of content creators.

Setting up MediaCore is very simple. It must be linked to your course via course Modules, like any external app, as documented in this tutorial. You will then have the ability to embed the link to upload videos in your Assignments or Pages in ECLearn.

When students click on the link, they’ll see the media library for that course, as well as an upload button (circled below).

Students will be prompted to complete a series of fields in the upload window, including linking to or uploading a video.

Video assignments can be a fun way to engage and challenge students. MediaCore allows for easy viewing, sharing, and commenting of videos, making class discussion easy.

  1. Think about it, others in reality market your videos for you.
Nevertheless, a lot of the video playing programs and video editing software don’t support FLV
extendable automatically. In professional video editing for documentaries and movies, video editor edits the video according to the script.
