Creating a RefWorks Account

In order to sign up for RefWorks, you must be connected to the Emmanuel College network.  You can use any computer on campus or connect to the Emmaless WiFi network. Once your account has been created, you can access it anywhere. When connected, please follow the instructions listed below:

  1. Navigate to https://www.refworks.com/refworks2/?groupcode=RWEmmanuelC
  2. Click on the link that says “Sign up for a New Account”
  3. Enter your Emmanuel email address, create a login username and password, and then click “Next”
  4. Enter your name, select your area of focus, and then select the type of user you are (typically either “Undergraduate student” or “Faculty member”)
  5. Click “Create Account”

Learning How To Use Refworks

There are three manners of instruction that RefWorks provides that teaches users how to navigate it and use its functions:
